the LCD light is WAYYYYYYY too bright! Even on the lowest setting, it lights up on the opposite wall! I wanted to use it as a clock, alarm & radio. I'll only be using it as my alarm so I can hear HD2 radio in the morning but I had to shut off the display altogether & plug in my old clock. I would return it but all of these HD2 radios have the same complaints so none will be any better.The shipper was great! each step of the shipping was communicated & it arrived when it said it would.
