Feels authentic and genuine except it doesn’t have the springy feeling in the triggers at allIF you are purchasing this controller for PC/Linux etc to use for Emulators it’s a great idea, it’s the main reason I done it myself. Except retroarch doesn’t pick up the controller button mappings correctly you’ll be having to guess specific buttons. You’ll run into the same issue if you purchased the USB nintendo 64 controller. Except an additional problem will come up, both Nintendo64 and GameCube controller are running off the same Driver “RetroLink N64” making it a bit of an annoyance of selecting which controller for whichever emulator you wish to use.As I love my retro games, I have my Xbox One controller for my Nes, SNES, Megadrive, Mastersystem, Dreamcast ps1, Ps2, PS3, ps4, and Xbox and Xbox 360.I’m a firm believing that purchasing the N64 and or GameCube connection adapter to pc would work better, as it allows you to use the genuine controllers and all of its original functionalities,But getting the USB controllers is far by the best and cheaper options if you are trying to keep your stuff looked after :)
