When I received the Wasp, it worked wonderfully. I charged it for the required 4-6 hours and then programmed it. It was great to be able to scan our work tickets into our tracking app right on my Note II. However, a couple of days ago, it started acting up. I would scan something and it would issue 5 beeps afterward, which the manual said was a low battery warning.Since I had not scanned anywhere near the stated 5,000 between charges, I thought it odd. But, I connected to my laptop's USB charging port (it did not come with the stated BT adapter or a wall wort to charge) and waited another 4 hours. After the wait, I disconnected the Wasp and tried to scan a ticket. It gave an odd series of beeps and seemingly died. I get no response when I push the button. I have yet to contact the manufacturer, as it has a one year warranty.I will update this review with the response I get and if issued another one, how I make out with it. It's disappointing really, since if it would work correctly, I want my company to buy a bunch of them to help manage our inventory.UPDATE:After a great discussion with WASP tech support, I was able to get it working again. As it turns out, the USB port on the device was a bit tight. So, I wasn't pushing the connector in far enough, which led to a bad connection when charging. As soon as I made sure to seat the connector fully, it's been charging and working like a dream.
