Lo recomiendo.I couldn’t be happierI previously purchased the Grundig Digta SonicMic - the direct competitor to the Philips SpeechMike. The Grundig SonicMic, was great, high quality German construction. It worked well. But I eventually decide to give this Philips SpeechMike a try. I'm glad I did.It seems built specifically for voice to text dictation, the ergonomics are great, it feels good in the hands, and the buttons and trackball are pretty responsiveThe only drawback, and this does irritate me, is the Philips control program that you need to install in order to really effectively use the microphone. It is slightly glitchy, but only slightly on my Windows 10 core i7 machine. It also keeps trying to update itself for the Internet, and try as hard as I can I cannot disable that feature. That irritates me.But the microphone itself is rocksolid, I haven't decided if I like it better than the Grundig Digta SonicMic, but I will say the Philips SpeechMike LFH-3500 is a very high quality and well-made microphone. If your budget permits it, then it is probably the best handheld that you'll find. If budget is an issue they go for the Grundig, because it seems to perform almost as well as the Philips, but at a lower price-point.if you are purchasing this to use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, or the built-in Windows speech to text feature, it will work very well.At the end of the day, dictation is mostly about your elocution, and voice delivery. The hardware is just what gives it that extra edge, in terms of accuracy. If you have not trained yourself to be a precise in your dictation then the hardware won't help you very much. But if you can get the skill of dictation itself down, reliably, then hardware like this can definitely help you get an extra edge.As far as speech recognition, this is the best SpeechMike and amongst the best microphones that I have used ever. Excellent quality with almost 99% accuracy. And the trackball function is fairly decent. It is very ergonomic and comfortable to use. Used with Great for dictation, easy to teach and modify the dictionary. It doesn't make a lot of errors even with unique speech dialects. Buttons are intuitive.This is definitely better quality than its predecessors. I would have preferred a less smooth case on the microphone or perhaps some rubberized surface to help grip it. Also, the cord is too stiff. There is the ability to have the mic turn off when the unit is in the horizontal position, but if you are holding it at too much of an angle while dictating rather than fully upright, the mic will turn off and some of the dictation will be missed. I will either have to train myself not to tilt it while in use or disable this feature (which is a nice touch when you set the mic down on the desk so it does not keep recording background conversation). It is a bit overpriced.I currently use windows seven and my operating system, and DragonDictate professional version 12 latest upgrade.This microphone works great and is much better than the headset I was using previously. I really like the controls, I don't have to yell into my microphone for to pick up my speech.The number of errors made by Dragon has gone down significantly since I switched to this microphone. I would highly recommend it. I did a lot of research into the different microphones and am very happy that I did because this works great.One of the biggest complaints about many of these handheld microphones is at the core tends to wear out with time. The nice thing about this Philips microphone is that the cord actually plugs into the microphone and can be replaced if it breaks without having to replace the entire microphone.Great product even better deal 1/2 price for a refurbished modelIch war auf der Suche nach einem Diktiermikrofon, dass für Dragon Nuance gut geeignet ist. Es sollte eine optimale Rauschunterdrückung haben und gut in der Anwendung sein. Ich habe jetzt mehrere Diktiermikrofone ausprobieren müssen, ehe ich das passende Gerät gefunden habe. Philips, dachte ich zumindest, sei eine gute solide Firma. Das Gerät kam schnell und war ordentlich verpackt. Sobald man es an den PC anschließt, läuft es mit Dragon, ohne dass man weitere Einstellungen berücksichtigen muss. Da dieses Diktiermikrofon allerdings auch noch andere Eigenschaften besitzt, wollte ich die ebenfalls nutzen. Laut Anleitung kann man die F Tasten selbst programmieren, um diese Tastaturen so zu belegen, wie es benötigt wird. Dazu muss man die Software vom Hersteller herunterladen. Die ist nur in der englischen Sprache verfügbar. Es gibt ein Handbuch, das einigermaßen gut erklärt ist (deutsche Sprache). Jedoch hat bei mir nichts funktioniert. Es gibt auf dem Gerät selbst eine Maus, die ebenfalls nicht funktioniert hat. Die Tastaturen ließen sich nicht programmieren. Lassen wir das alles außen vor, und kommen zur eigentlichen Diktierfunktion. Angeblich besitzt das Gerät eine außerordentliche Rauschunterdrückungsfunktion. Leider habe ich davon überhaupt nichts gemerkt. Die Fehlerquote lag extrem hoch. Als Beispiel, hatte ich zuvor ein Billigmikrofon für 20 €, bei dem die Rauschunterdrückung besser war als bei dem Gerät für 260 €. Daher habe ich es zurückgeschickt. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen.Ich diktiere seit Jahren mit Dragon, zzt Dragon Prof. 15, bisher mit Vivix Kopfbügel. Wie immer wurde das Produkt sehr rasch von Amazon geliefert. Hierfür auf jeden Fall immer wieder gerne fünf Sterne. Das Philips Diktiermikrofon überzeugt, nachdem die zugehörige Software heruntergeladen wurde. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass das Mikrofon einfach am Tisch liegen bleiben kann. Man muss nicht direkt hinein sprechen, um fast perfekte Diktierergebnisse zu erzielen. Davor hatte ich ein bisschen Angst, da ich keine Lust verspürte dauernd das Teil in der Hand zu halten. Somit kann ich nebenbei problemlos in den Aktenblättern bzw. auch am Computer herumscrollen, ohne das Diktiergerät permanent an und ausschalten zu müssen. Den Trackball muss ich dementsprechend kaum benutzen, da das Gerät meist neben der Maus liegt, während ich mit normaler Stimme in meinem Büro diktieren kann. Das Gerät selbst macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, wobei ich dies natürlich noch nicht abschließend beurteilen kann, da ich das Gerät erst seit einem Monat in Betrieb habe.Ich benutze das Mikrofon für Dragon Natural Speaking. Es übernimmt alles perfekt und ist leicht in der Handhabung. Auch die Installation lässt sich über die Anleitung per Internet problemlos durchführen. Das Gerät liegt zwar im oberen Preissegment, ist sein Geld aber auf jeden Fall wert. Ich nutze es bereits seit Monaten und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.Die 3Sternebewertung nur weil ich über die Qualität des Gerätes nichts sagen kann. Ich denke, wenn es funktioniert ist es super.Fakt ist aber wohl, dass die Installation des Gerätes weit weg von Intuitiv ist. Nach etwa 3 Stunden Versuche an 3 !! PCs (ich bin durchaus erfahren mit der Installation von Hard- und Software), habe ich aufgegeben und schicke das Gerät zurück.Ich gehe normal davon aus, dass ich ein USB-Device anschliesse, im besten Fall eine Software installiere und das Gerät implementiert sich in meine entprechende Software. Geht nicht, scheint wohl eine zusätzliche zu bestellende Software (preis in Höhe des gerätes) zu benötigen.Das Handbuch (natürlich nur Online) ist für Nuppes, hilft nicht weiter.Received defective unit.
