I wonder if the designers of the RCA USB A to Micro B Cable (AH732R) tested this on actual devices, because it doesn't work properly on anything for me. - I tried it with my Seagate hard drive. The design of the plug made it so that the metal end was too short to seat properly. The drive connected intermittently, but I couldn't manage to keep it working for long. - I tried it with my Google Nexus 7. It charges, but that is the best I could do. The regular cord for the Nexus 7 works fine, so it isn't my device, or my technical incompetence that is to blame here.I want to like this cord, because it seems quite sturdy, but otherwise there is nothing to recommend here. Maybe the one I received is a dud.
