I would not buy another powered hub without a lifetime warranty. The last two I bought (not CyberPower) had 1-year warranties - the first one lasted 2 years, the other one lasted less than a month, all because of inferior quality. If you use CyberPower UPS systems, why not use their powered hubs, as well.Works well as a USB hub, but don't expect it to do much charging/powering of devices. Even with it plugged into the wall and the charging USB port on my laptop, my phone will only "slow charge" when connected, and connecting my PSP results in a message on the PSP screen that there is not enough power coming from the connection to charge the PSP at all. And that's with the phone or the PSP being the only thing connected to the hub, so there's no juice being taken up by other peripherals. Also, the suction cup that came with the unit was basically worthless. Wouldn't stick to my desk at all, so I just have the unit sitting on the desk without the suction cup.And Red Panda isn't kidding about the bright LED light. It's not bothersome to me, but I thought I'd add a photo of what I see when I wake up in the middle of the night so people can see what Red Panda is talking about in their review. The lack of actually being able to effectively charge even a single device, despite being plugged into both my laptop AND an electrical outlet, is what knocks this down from a five star review to a three star review. The suction cup is a nice inclusion. I had a previous one from RocketFish in this form factor (although it has 7 ports, I wish there was a 7 port version of this). Be warned of something... This USB hub has a very strong, piercing Blue Light indicator. I feel like at any moment, while I am sleeping, this thing will wake up and "I'll be back" or "Hasta la vista, baby" and shoot its cosmic ray around my room. No, seriously, I have to cover it... It is very strong and annoying. It is like this product comes with FREE Lasik.
