I use this to use the same wireless keyboard/mouse receiver with a Mac Mini and a PC. I would have liked it better if it were "ON" all the time for both computers without having to flip the switch, but I don't think flipping a switch will exhaust me anytime soon. All worked as advertised.i hate when a USB device doesn't have a ez to use on-off switch, that problem is now fixed for everWork perfectlyNot worth buyingI bought this splitter to connect an external hard drive to two different computers because I thought it would be easier to flip a switch than to unplug the hard drive from one computer and plug it into the other one all the time. For the first three or so days everything was great. After that it took one computer about 15 minutes before it would read the hard drive and the other computer took about 5 minutes. After about a week of owning the splitter neither computer would recognize the hard drive at all. I removed the switch and plugged the hard drive directly into the computer and it read instantly. The idea behind the product is very good, but the application is a complete failure.Out of three only one could output 2 amps. Pretty useless for most applications. Avoid.
